As gifts to humanity go, there’s not much that’s better than Traditional Music. If you’ve already added it to your life’s journey, you know the comfort, history, values and friendship it provides us. And you’ve most likely experienced first-hand the powerful language of music in its associated community. Since 2011, I’ve been filming, recording this “living” tradition… specifically, who is now participating, adding to this ongoing history.

At this year’s Clifftop, I had the good fortune of sitting down and listening to several artist/teacher/thought-leaders, asking them about their life’s journey with the music and community (will be assembling a reel). Here’s noted banjo player/teacher Hilarie Burhans in one of these conversations.
