Greg Deering is as large in real life as his banjos are in the marketplace. Deering Banjo Company is the biggest and most sophisticated of the 25 Banjo Builders interviewed in this Series. To say their factory was impressive is an understatement.

Greg is an artist, a craftsman and an inventive machinery design engineer. You can see his touch everywhere in Deering’s 18,000 square foot factory (with 35 employees!). They’re cranking out banjos in a frenzy… trying to meet the demand for the products they’ve created (i.e. the Goodtime).
